I know it all sounds convoluted, but accualy its simply the conclusion that everything is basicly works the same, that humans do have areas of the brain that think like ants, other areas that think like a lizard etc... So other than scale and scope, all living things are still part of one individual mind. So my oppinion is that, when you seem to be blocked from writing, you need to remember that you are the god and its all about making the choice to write, and who cares what others think about you, after reading your posts.
